"FRESH SQUEEZED ORANGE JUICE"
Most people do not
eat enough fresh fruit and vegetables daily. Fresh Squeezed Juices
are non-acid and a quick and enjoyable way of getting
high quality vitamins, minerals, and enzymes necessary
for a healthy functioning body.
Fresh
Squeezed Orange Juice contains no added white sugar, salt, pesticides,
tap water or additives, unlike even some of the best market bought
orange juice. Nutritional value is lost when juice is exposed to
light, heat, and air which stimulate the process of oxidation. Fresh
Juices are "raw" or "live food" and very
high in nutritional value.
The body cannot store Vitamin C, yet the body requires a
minimum amount every day. Recommended daily intake for Vitamin C
is 60mg. An 8 ounce glass of O.J. contains about 100mg.
Most people know that Vitamin C is present in citrus fruit, but
it also contains pectins which can reduce the risk of heart
disease and bioflavonoids which are thought to reduce
the risk of cancer. A 12 ounce glass equals approximately the juice
of 6 oranges.
VITAMIN
C
Antioxidant; needed for healthy skin, bones, teeth, gums,
and blood. Helps resistance to infection and iron absorption. Vitamin
C is necessary for healing the body from ordinary cuts, to infections
such as the common cold.
FOLIC
ACID
B Vitamins which may reduce the risk of birth defects of the
brain and spine. Helps in the production of mature red blood
cells.
POTASSIUM
Helps regulate blood pressure, heartbeat, nerve and muscle functions.
